Description

Chobits Freya 03 bicentennial girl

Maybe Dragonfly found Freya 01 and mod'd her to resemble the first, I mean third, of the Crypton Vocaloid 2's, Megurine Luka (CV 03).

Now 200 years later, she hasn't aged a bit. The same cannot be said for Dragonfly's descendants. :-)

The title "bicentennial girl" is, of course, in reference to the novella and movie entitled Bicentennial Man. The novella is by Isaac Asimov and the movie stars Robin Williams and Sam Neill. The movie is based directly on The Positronic Man by Isaac Asimov and Robert Silverberg.

I have a bicenttenial girl of my own: Citronella Peterson. Elmo's pet skunk, due to a virus, was mutated into a humanoid in infancy, tho not completely. A mere mechanical virus can not be expected to do everything. Citronella has thus been further bio-engineered to make her even more human ! Two upgrades have had the desired effects, and a 3rd one is now needed. Tho the process is taking mere months, it was named after the Robin Williams movie.
Cittronella, however, wishes to retain the tail and the stink power. Removing bestial characteristics, avoiding undesirable human characteristics, and such, requires careful engineering.
